Stop here if you want to buy cheese, ice cream or random snacks. I had hoped it was more of a place to get lunch/sandwiches, but it's not. Cheese curds were nice and queaky. I was surprised that there wasn't a changing table in the women's bathroom given all of the children coming in/out. I changed my son next to the sink. There's a small parking lot with a couple of picnic tables and a gravel area for dogs.
We always stop in there and buy cheese on our travels between Salt Lake and St. George. Went in this morning and bought some salsa and regular curd to enjoy while driving. About an hour later on the road, we open the bag, had literally two pieces and found a BLACK CURLY HAIR. EITHER BEARD OR PUBIC HAIR. My husband almost threw up all over wheel.I called the front register and was really nice just to let them know what happened and we were on the road....she was said, "Do you want to bring it back for a refund?" I told her we were not going to turn around and drive back. She DID NOT apologize only tartly asked what I wanted her to do. I said maybe let your people know. She said they all wear hair and beard nets. She was very cold, unapologetic, and had no people skills. They should train they employees to be courteous and apologetic when stuff like that happens. An apology was all we were looking for.
Perfect ice cream refreshment on a trip. My dad used to stop here & buy a horn of longhorn cheese to bring home to AZ in the 50s. Staff is so friendly & makes you feel right at home. YUMMY cheese curds!
Squeaky cheese... stopped on a Tuesday and were told they don't make batches on Tuesdays. It was still tasty and squeaky. We were interested in ice cream but noticed it was just blue bunny so we passed on that.
Their Cheese is phenomenal. My personal favorite is the Jalapeño curd. It has the flavor, and the spice is really mild. Always have really helpful staff. Don't forget to take a cooler so you can stock up. Little bags of curd are hands down one of the most popular gifts to my Nevada family when one of us travels into the vast North Land!
